THE STAYCATIONERS: LANGHAM PLACE NEW YORK
There’s no place like home — especially when home comes in the form of an über-luxe pied-à-terre favored by Saudi royalty and businessmen with champagne taste. Soaring past the NYC skyline, the 57-story limestone tower that is Langham Place sits proudly on its Fifth Avenue perch in an air of chic, modern luxury second to none. THE STAYCATIONERS reveled in the lap of luxury for a night. Pass the champagne, darling. It’s about to get fancy.

Clearly the idea of a staycation is to spend the entire time in a bathrobe. That said, Langham Place’s Chuan Spa & Soul is the perfect place to fulfill such goals whilst making the most of the period between check-in and dinner– among plenty of others (albeit less robe-friendly) being that this bad boy is smack dab in the heart of Midtown. The spa is currently undergoing a makeover, so stay tuned for the reveal this fall.

It’s 10 o’clock. Do you know where your drink is? We do. Enter Measure, Langham Place New York’s sexy lounge hugging the corner of 36th Street at Fifth Avenue. Step one: grab a Notorious F.I.G. (wish we could take credit for that one) with Avua cachaça, fig, lime, cinnamon, and crème de cassis or a Pisco Inferno (nope, didn’t make that up either) with Pisco, Licor 43, red pepper agave, egg white, cayenne, and bitters. Step two: snag a table by the window and let the people-watching ensue. Bonus: the daily continental breakfast is BANGIN.
